About Matt
Matt Murphy began his career designing landscape lighting for some of the most prestigious estates on Long Island. After mastering outdoor landscape lighting, he decided to bring his passion for lighting to the lavish events of the East End.
True to "Hamptons style," Matt prefers clean lines, organic materials and colors found in nature. Although modern neon-colored lighting designs have their place in the current market, he feels that subtle designs oftentimes are more dramatic and make more of an impact.
Matt’s passion and imagination, coupled with his knowledge of the latest lighting techniques have earned him accolades as one of the Hampton's premier lighting designers.
